Currently, we are hiring several positions:
Commercial electricians are responsible for repairing, installing and maintaining electrical equipment and wiring. They may install or service streetlights, electrical control systems or intercom systems, and connect wires to transformers, circuit breakers or other types of components as well. Ability to install pipe using hand, cyclone, or hydraulic benders and wire pulling with correct circuitry, high voltage and low voltage, or use of a cable tugger are also common tasks. Jobsites do vary between York, Lancaster, Harrisburg, Chambersburg, and Baltimore. Electricians must have hand and power tools and reliable transportation.
Duties, Skills, and Knowledge
o Electricians must have at least three to four years of experience and be able to work alone or with other team members and on occasion with an apprentice. Must be able to receive tasks from a foreman and perform duties without further direction. Electricians are responsible for connecting power cables to equipment, and following blueprints in determining the location of equipment and wiring to ensure that building and safety codes are followed.
o A commercial electrician should be skilled in installation, reading comprehension, active listening, troubleshooting and equipment selection. They should have knowledge of building and construction, mathematics, production and processing, public safety and security, and design.

Swift River Electrical Corporation is looking for several full time Construction Laborers. Job sites are located in the York, Lancaster, Carlisle, and surrounding areas. Reliable transportation is required.
Description: A Construction Laborer performs tasks involving physical labor at building, highway, and heavy construction projects, tunnel and shaft excavations, and demolition sites. A Construction Laborer may operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. A Construction Laborer may clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, clean up rubble and debris, and remove asbestos, lead, and other hazardous waste materials. A Construction Laborer must be able to physically perform all tasks, move quickly out of the way of oncoming vehicles and equipment, and lift up to 25 pounds if necessary.
